I’ve recently started working on some iPhone development again following my discovery of software that allows you to program and test applications on a Windows OS. I had wanted to do some indie development but didn’t want to spend the money on a Mac so this was great news for me. This way I can create mobile applications on my $200 Notebook PC instead of spending a ton on a new Apple system. I’m still just learning the new API I’ll need to be using but I should have some news about future titles I’ll be releasing shortly!
By the way, if you’re interested, the software I’ll be using is DragonFireSDK.
The past month I’ve been working a bit on improving my Java and C# skills and I hope to be creating an application for mobile devices running the Android OS sometime in the near future. I also have a couple smaller contract jobs for mobile applications that I might be working on sometime this month if all goes well. If you wish to contact me please feel free to shoot me an email.
I decided to revamp my website a bit today and this is the result. I’m hoping to update this every few weeks or so just to let people know what I’m up to. I just moved back down to Iowa from Minnesota and I’m starting the search for a job at least slightly related to my degree. I plan to use this website as a professional reference and source of information for employers as well as a personal blog to let friends and family know what I’m up to. I’m also currently teaching myself Java because I would like to start making some applications for the DROID in the near future.
This is a video I had to make as a school project in college but I figured I’d post it here as well. All the games featured in this demo reel I did either all or a majority of the programming.
